Internships
Bridging the gap between campus life and your career, an internship may be one of the most valuable experiences you’ll have in college. The offers students the chance to relate their studies to the real world in a variety of challenging and rewarding positions. Each year, students participate in more than 10,000 internship opportunities with corporations, small businesses, schools, government agencies and community organizations around the world.
Davis Bridge
gives you hands-on teaching experience with low-income students in the Latino community. After-school homework clubs staffed by 69³ÉÈË students provide free tutoring, academic support and mentoring for Latinx youth.
ArtsBridge
69³ÉÈË’ brings your passion for creativity to K-12 classrooms in Yolo and Sacramento counties. As an ArtsBridge scholar, you will collaborate with teachers to develop lessons that teaches students about art, dance, music and theater.
Community clinics
Nearly a dozen in the surrounding area provide service learning opportunities — whether your interests are in health care, social work or legal aid. These weekend clinics provide culturally sensitive, free health care in a respectful environment. They also give undergraduates the chance to work alongside 69³ÉÈË medical students and learn about the challenges and rewards of patient care.
Student Farm
The is a 25-acre teaching and research facility offering you opportunities to explore sustainable agriculture, alternative technologies and agricultural philosophies through classes, projects, internships, work study jobs and original research. Internships at the Student Farm can range from field research to teaching schoolchildren, to the business of marketing community-supported agriculture (CSA) and issues of food insecurity.
Bodega Marine Laboratory
The (BML) sits on the 362-acre Bodega Marine Reserve with one of the most diverse marine ecosystems in California. For nearly fifty years, the lab has addressed complex environmental challenges to coastal ecosystems and provided hands-on training to students who have become leaders in the fields of marine science and policy. BML offers undergraduate courses, research opportunities, summer residencies and scholarships.
UC Center Sacramento
The leverages our close proximity to the state capitol and helps prepare you for a host of careers including public policy, government relations and law through internships tailored to your career goals and coursework taught by UC professors.
Washington Program
The takes you to our nation’s capital, just six blocks away from the White House, where you will spend one quarter interning through one of over a thousand opportunities with organizations from NASA and the National Institutes of Health to the Smithsonian, regulatory agencies and international organizations.
Emergency Medicine Research Associate Program (EMRAP)
The gives you valuable research and health care experience at the 69³ÉÈË Medical Center, a premier Level 1 trauma facility that is one of the busiest trauma centers in the nation. One of only a few such undergraduate programs in the nation, EMRAP puts you in the emergency room where you can learn about clinical research, observe emergency operations and learn from medical professionals.
Employment Training for F-1 International Students
